I am first and foremost a mum to two little boys (not so little anymore, but they will always be my ‘little’ boys), and a wife to my VERY patient husband Mark. We live in a beautiful part of the world in Northamptonshire, where I create celebration cakes and other sweet treats.

My career in food started in my home country of Australia working in restaurants, and then continuing when I came to England where I worked for Gordon Ramsay, Theo Randall and The Ivy private members club. Although I was always front of house, my love of food was very strong and I would cook and bake at home at any opportunity I could. When we left London, moved to the Northamptonshire countryside and started our family, I tried out a few different career options, but never fully settled into anything. Finally, after many years of being told to start my own baking business I took the plunge in June 2020, choosing to give up a safe & secure career working in our local school and going out on my own to finally live the dream. It’s a bit of running joke now that it only took a pandemic to kick me into gear!

I absolutely LOVE what I do. I love making people happy through delicious celebration cakes, I love the reactions I get when people see what I create for them and I love being able to part of someone’s special celebration. Life is for living and my friends and family will tell you that I believe every single birthday and occasion should be celebrated with gusto.
